A webinar last week provided Renewable Fuels Association (RFA) members an opportunity to learn more about corn distillers oil (CDO) manufacturing opportunities and challenges, regulatory expectations, and quality considerations. The webinar slides will be made available on the “Members Only” section of the RFA website.
As a follow on, the American Oil Chemists' Society (AOCS) has developed the “Analytical Guidelines for Assessing Corn Distillers Oil Quality” as a technical tool for identifying appropriate methods used in the testing of CDO and in identifying the importance of each parameter. AOCS also has gathered the pertinent analytical methods into a Method Collection. Further analytical information can be found on the AOCS website.
