A new crop of articles on genetically modified organisms (GMO) hit the press this week: The New York Times (NYT) included an opinion piece titled “We Need GMO Wheat” and National Public Radio’s Tuesday Morning Edition ran a story (audio and print) on “How American Food Companies Go GMO-Free in a GMO World.” The latter features the owner of a grain elevator supplying the non-GMO product stream.
