Bloomberg--Widespread showers are lifting crop prospects for grains and oilseeds in northern Europe, while locally heavy rain in the Balkan region is boosting wheat and rapeseed, the US Department of Agriculture reported in its weekly weather report. Read more.

KFC buckets palm oil in Australia
ABC Online--Fast food company Kentucky Fried Chicken has switched from using imported palm oil to Australian canola oil in its Australian outlets. KFC won't reveal the exact amount of canola being purchased, as it says the information is commercially sensitive. Read more.
