Analytical Division Newsletter Highlights

Analytical Division News

Message from the Chairperson [excerpt]
"I have always been inspired by the leaders and long time members of the Division and aspired to contribute to its success and build a team of leaders for future growth. I want to take the opportunity and highlight the significance of associating yourself with the Division and AOCS in general. It has helped me develop an excellent network of professionals as well as provided me with a leadership skills-building opportunity. I would encourage every member of the Division--and especially the new generation of scientists--to step forward and grab the opportunity.
This year we recognize Dr. Craig Byrdwell with the prestigious Herbert Dutton Award for his long time contribution to the field of oils and fats analysis with a special mention of the leadership and insight he has provided to spur the growth of the Division over the past several years. We also recognize Lisa Zhou and Alexia Agiomyrgianaki with the Analytical Division Student awards. Please join me in congratulating them on their well deserved recognition. I welcome you all to join us at the Analytical Division Dinner to recognize the award winners and network with other members." -Vishal Jain, Ph.D.
